ASD in Adults (Autism Spectrum Disorder)

Patients who would like to be referred for an assessment for ASD can be referred for NHS Assessment and Diagnosis via the following services:

• AWP Bristol Autism Spectrum Service -BASS (referrals from 17.5 years)
• RTC Psychiatry UK (18 years plus)
• RTC Clinical Partners (16 years plus) Please note Clinical Partners provide assessment only

How to start a referral request:

1. Patients who wish to be referred must first visit each of the website (links below) to ensure that they have read and finalised their decision. (Patients are only able to be referred to one service at the time of referral)
2. Complete the relevant patient questionnaire for your chosen provider and return to us us via email (bnssg.bedminsterfamilypractice@nhs.net), by post or face to face
3. Once we have received your questionnaire we will process your referral. If the GP needs to discuss your referral beforehand, we will contact you to ask you to arrange an appointment.
