We are committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and accessible service for all patients.  Your comfort, dignity, and independence are important to us.

Building Access

  • Step-free access is available through our main entrance
  • Our facilities are suitable for wheelchair users
  • A lift provides access to the first floor
  • The Blue Badge Scheme is for people with severe mobility problems.  It allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go.  For further information and an Application Form, visit your local council office.

Guide Dogs

Guide dogs are welcome at the Practice. However, we kindly ask that you are considerate of other patients and staff who may have allergies to dogs or a fear of them.

Neurodiversity & Sensory Needs

We recognise that some patients, including those who are neurodivergent, may benefit from adjustments to help them feel more comfortable.  A quiet waiting area can be arranged on request. On arrival at the practice, please report to reception, or contact us in advance if this would be helpful.

Trauma-Informed Care & Intimate Examinations

We understand that intimnate examinations can feel particularly sensitive or distressing for patients, especially those who have experienced previous trauma.

Our clinicians aim to provide trauma-informed care by:

  • Clearly explaining each step of the examination
  • Seeking consent at every stage
  • Offering a chaperone
  • Respecting your right to pause or stop at any time
  • Offering clinician choice where possible

If you have any concerns about an examination, please let us know before or during your appointment.  We will always work with you to ensure you feel safe, respected and in control.

Reasonal Adjustments

We encourage all patients to request any reasonable adjustments that may help them access our services.  If there is anything we can do to support you, please contact us in advance or speak to reception.

If you require any support or adjustments, please let us know - we are committed to ensuring our services are accessible to everyone.
